The hotel is located in a quiet area and is easy to reach from the train station. the surrounding mountain views are breathtaking and provide an excellent backdrop for outdoor activities. the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with balconies and contemporary bathrooms. the staff is warm, friendly, and efficient, providing excellent service throughout the stay. the breakfast is diverse, with various options for all tastes and dietary requirements. the hotel amenities include a sauna, garden, and sun loungers, providing relaxation opportunities throughout the day.
The dining experience in some of the cafes in town was reportedly not friendly, leaving a slightly negative impression on visitors to the general area.

We stayed at Hotel Schonegg during the period 9 – 13 June 2011. From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It was a family run and you were made to feel part of the family. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. To sum up this hotel, it is a 3 star hotel with 4 star staff. Thank you for a wonderful break

This hotel was the perfect base for our city trip. the location was ideal, just a short walk away from the town square. the staff were friendly and always quick to help, making us feel welcome right from the start. the breakfast was delicious and had a great selection to choose from, including hot items and a variety of breads. the dinner menu had a good amount of choice, and the salad buffet was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the clean and well-maintained rooms, which had plenty of storage space.
From the location to the food and friendly staff, everything was spot on.

Very friendly and helpfully the food was very good. Fee use of bikes and enjoyed our trips out on them . The rooms were very clean but perhaps are ready for a 'face lift' however this did not effect our holiday and we had a lovely time.
Nothing to comment on

We loved the location just out of the town centre, which made it a peaceful place to stay. Additionally, the hotel facilities were great; the rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, and the heating worked perfectly during winter. Great hotel experience! The breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the main train/bus station and easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and cared for. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful balconies that offered great views. The hotel also offered affordable and delicious dinner options.
The WiFi network was not reliable and often failed to connect. the hairdryer provided in our room was not very strong and took a long time to dry our hair.
